Topic: Alumni Game

Comments: Alumni 17 Burn 11 or something like that.  In any event
Alumni 1 Burn 0 in the series.  Can't wait till next year.

Topic: Skylander VII Bteam result

Comments: I noticed the results for Bteam are inclomplete both here
and on the UPA website. I thought I'd update. Pool play on
Sat. went like this. Our first game we lost 5-13. Our
second game we lost 2-13. Our third we lost 5-13. Our
fourth we lost 8-13 or 9-13 depending on who you talk to.
Then on Sunday, we lost our first game 5-13 and won our
second game 13-5. We won our third game by default because
our opponents left after their second game since they were
playing savage seven. This put us at 25th overall.
Virginia Tech B officially placed better than 5 teams.
Suck on that. Oh, and we also won both of our boat races
thanks to Peterson being a freaking animal.

Topic: The Ultimate ListServ

Comments: Does anyone else think that this list serv spam is getting
out of hand? I recieved about a page's worth of ultimate
emails today, most of which were useless. For example,
does everyone on the ultimate team need to recieve the
message, "We will win over your hearts with our charming
good looks and our poop

antics." Another highly important message I recieved today read, "pk
knows a lot about a mangina too....."

Surely I'm not the only one annoyed by this? Couldn't some of these
emails be sent to specific people, rather than freaking everyone?
What are your thoughts?

team as well, so when and where might the first practice
be, or when is the next practice that I should try and
make it to?

Comments: As per Grandpa's e-mail, we will be holding pickup ,
Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the drillfield for those who are in
town. As for Thursday (since it is move in) we may want to
try and find a different location than the drillfield...or
we could just play horsepuckey. See yall Tuesday.

Topic: Interested in joining the team

Comments: I'm a new freshmen this year at Tech and I'm very
interested in joining the team. I have some experience and
practice with ultimate but have never been on an official
team. Are there times I should keep open in making my
schedule? When is the first meeting/practice I should
make? Are there any steps I need to take towards getting
involved? Are cleats mandatory or can I play barefoot?
That last one is a joke (sort of).
